Other Alexandria History Publications

Historic Alexandria Quarterly.  The Office of Historic Alexandria published the Historic Alexandria Quarterly from 1996 to 2004.  Copies can be viewed on-line on the OHA website.

Carlyle House Docent Dispatch.  The Carlyle House Docent Dispatch frequently has articles on Alexandria history.  Articles from 2001 to present can be viewed on-line on the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority website.

Yearbooks of the Historical Society of Fairfax County.  The annual Yearbooks of the Historical Society of Fairfax County frequently have articles relevant Alexandria History.  A listing of articles from 1951 to present can be viewed on-line on their website.  The Yearbooks themselves can be perused in various local libraries.

Fireside Sentinel. Lloyd House (the predecessor of the Local History/Special Collections Unit of the Alexandria Public Library) published the Fireside Sentinel from March 1987 until December 1995.  A listing of Fireside Sentinel articles can be viewed by clicking here.
